Substance Abuse and Naltrexone at the Worksite
January 23, 2025 9:00 - 10:00 AM CT (10:00 - 11:00 AM ET)
Over 107,000 Americans died from drug overdoses in 2023. Employers are aware of that incidence and that the threat of excessive or illicit opioid use among their workforce remains considerable. They are often, however, reluctant to take specific steps to mitigate the risk of an overdose event in the workplace. With the increased awareness and availability of opioid reversal agents such as naloxone, the opportunity has never been better to implement a thoughtful and protective plan. This session will detail important compliance and safety issues, and will provide an outline for program development.
