    NAWHC is pleased to announce a new member benefit – First Monday Roundtables – offering members an opportunity to informally discuss and learn about a topic of importance in the planning, management and measurement of onsite, near-site, shared, mobile and virtual health centers.     The first one on March 4 will have the topic: “Selecting a Health Center Manager.”  This Roundtable is an opportunity for members to learn about and share information on how to determine who should manager their health center. The discussion will be facilitated by NAWHC’s Executive Director Larry Boress.

    With musculoskeletal conditions at the top of the list for both overall healthcare costs as well as workplace injuries for employers, it poses a unique opportunity for those willing to implement innovative solutions to better manage and prevent these conditions. In this webinar, we will talk about one piece of the MSK injury prevention pie - musculoskeletal triage solutions - covering topics including: 

    1. What is `musculoskeletal (MSK) triage', and what types of professionals do it?

    Ali Hartman is clinically trained as a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in musculoskeletal pain & injury prevention and health promotion in working populations. With a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human body and the value of caring for it in all capacities, Ali enjoys working with 'industrial athletes' to help create a stronger, more thriving workforce. Ali serves as lead of Pro-Activity's Southeast operations.

    Dr. Mark Ciolek, PT, DPT, Cert-APHPT

    Dr. Mark Ciolek combines his background as a physical therapist with his experience embedded with industrial workforces to reduce the impact of musculoskeletal injuries. His expertise relates to the application of the 4 levels of prevention within organizations. Currently he serves as Pro-Activity’s Prevention Services lead in the Midwest.
