Featured Speaker: Bruce Barker, MD , Medical Director, Ohio Healthy Living

Bruce Barker, MD , is the founder and medical director at the Ohio Healthy Living, an obesity clinic, in Delaware, Ohio. He is also the founder of the Delaware Research Group, LLC, which is responsible for conducting phase 2a-phase 4 clinical trials. Dr. Barker earned his medical degree at Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, Ohio, and completed his residency in family medicine at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, Pennsylvania. He is board certified in family medicine and obesity medicine.

Dr. Barker has been a principal investigator for a number of clinical trials of treatments in obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular health. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, the Obesity Medicine Association, and The Obesity Society. Dr. Barker is the recipient of the 2010 Research/Innovation in Patient Care Award from Grady Memorial Hospital.
